How to control your Christmas lights display
Your lights are connected to an automatic photocell timer that we’ll leave plugged in at your outlet.
To Turn Lights On When You’re Ready:
- Locate the timer at (usually at the outlet on the porch/front of your house unless otherwise specified)
- Switch the timer from “OFF” to your desired setting (2, 4, 6, or 8 hours, or Dawn to Dusk)
- The photocell will automatically turn lights ON at dusk and OFF after your selected duration
Settings Available:
- 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours of operation each night
- Dawn/Dusk (all night)
- On/Off
All settings (except for ON/OFF) turn the lights on automatically at dusk.
Lights turn off automatically after your chosen time period.
To Turn Lights Off for the Season:
- Switch the timer back to “OFF”
- Leave it plugged in for easy reactivation
Additional Notes:
- If it is already dark when you change the setting, the time for that first night will be measured from the time the lights turn on.
- The photocell has a timing trigger that waits 5-10 seconds before changing, so don’t be surprised if it does not turn on immediately even if it is dark. Wait 10 seconds and the timer will activate.
